Remembering Grandparents
When we were children, we thought our grandparents would never change. They always seemed the same — gray hair, a face full of wrinkles when they smiled, and candy forever in their pockets.
Then one day you notice Grandpa leaning against the wall to walk, and Grandma holding things close to see them. You have photos of them on your phone, but most are blurry, poorly lit, casually snapped. You keep thinking "next time I'll take a proper photo," but next time never comes.
You don't need a perfect photo. Even an ordinary group picture, as long as it's their real selves, is enough. What matters is taking it out of the phone and turning it into a real object you can see every day.
One day, when you miss them, you won't need to scroll through albums or worry about your phone breaking. You'll just look up, see the glass piece on your desk, and remember their face, their voice, the way they called your name.
While there's still time, keep their image. Not for sad moments, but for ordinary days when you still want to feel they're here.
Turn your grandparents' image into a keepsake that can be passed down.
