Your Photo, Your Piece

How we use your photo

• Your photo is used only to prepare your preview and, if you order, to make your piece.
• We do not sell, share or publish your photographs.
• We do not use your photo in our marketing without your written permission.

What we need from you

By sending us a photograph, you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it. This matters most with professional photographs — if a studio took the picture, you may need their permission.

Approval

Nothing is made until you approve your preview. Once you approve it, production begins and the piece is made to your photograph specifically.

Changes, returns and cancellation

• Before production: you can change or cancel at no cost. That is exactly what the free preview is for.
• After production has begun: a photo keepsake is made from your own photograph and cannot be resold to anyone else, so it cannot be returned or cancelled once production has started — unless it arrives damaged or faulty.

Photo quality

Clear, well-lit, reasonably high-resolution photographs give the best results. Old or low-resolution photos often still work — send it and we’ll check it for you and tell you honestly what to expect.

Keeping your files

We keep your photograph on file for a limited period so we can remake a piece if something goes wrong in transit. Ask us to delete it at any time and we will.
